History of the Property

Our Heritage

A family-owned property within one of the most pristine and captivating five-acre estates, Saint Anna’s part of the renowned Elwood Ranch—an expansive 1,400-acre legacy property in Fresno County with roots dating back to 1880.

Originally homesteaded by Judson Elwood, the ranch carries with it a rich tapestry of California history, including its storied association with the Dalton Gang, who are said to have used nearby Dalton Mountain as both refuge and legend-filled cache.

Today, that heritage lives on in the estate’s timeless character, complemented by sweeping panoramic views of the magnificent Great Western Divide and the Sierra Nevada mountains. With its historic structures, natural springs, and serene landscapes, the property offers a rare blend of authenticity, tranquility, and understated luxury.
